Sanding and Painting on PLA

If you print with larger layer heights, the layers will be more visible. One easy way to reduce the visibility of layers is by using a file and sandpaper. Since PLA is rather soft, we recommend starting with a file for curved corners, then switching to sandpaper to deal with larger areas.
Spray paint and acrylic paint provide vibrant and uniform colors on PLA prints. Note, however, that not every kind of paint can be used to color PLA prints.
